A wheelchair-accessible van stolen from a quadriplegic woman in Etobicoke yesterday has been found in a Toronto parking lot.
That's good news for Brenda Baird, who relies on the van for transportation.
Her husband, Charlie, drives the van, which is modified to accommodate her wheelchair, Baird said.
The van was used in a handful of smash-and-grab robberies around Sherway Gardens, police say.
The van, a purple Ford Windstar, is linked to four thefts from vehicles, including some in the mall's parking lot, according to 22 Division.
